Fantasy Football Fundraiser raises £530 for children in Nepal
Fantasy football, fierce rivalries, and a £530 win for children in Nepal – how 33 players turned competition into real change!
Earlier this year, we kicked off the ‘Our Street Our Children Fantasy Football League’, a fun and competitive way to bring our community together in support of a cause close to our hearts. Now, as the final whistle blows, we’re reflecting on an incredible season filled with surprises, last-minute captaincy calls, and plenty of team spirit.
From dramatic swings in form to unexpected climbs up the table, this year’s league had us all gripped right through to the end.
Celebrating our winners
Huge congratulations go to:
- Jai - who topped the table in a fiercely contested finish and takes home a well-deserved £150 prize.
- Sam - just missing out on the top spot but securing a brilliant second place and £100.
- Jack - completing the podium with a strong finish and earning £50 for third place.
To all 33 participants - thank you. Whether you tracked your transfers every week or forgot after the first round, your entry helped make this initiative a success.
Making a real-world impact
Together, we raised an impressive £530 for Our Street Our Children (OSOC), a small but powerful charity supporting disadvantaged children in Nepal. These funds went directly towards providing education, essential care, and support for young people growing up in challenging circumstances, offering what they need today, with hope for tomorrow.
With our very own Nick Thomas serving as a Trustee at OSOC, this is a cause that’s especially close to the Charisma team. We were proud to sponsor this initiative and bring together a brilliant community, united by a love of football and a shared belief in a better future for all children.
Charisma’s commitment
As a specialist recruiter for the charity and not-for-profit sector, we know the power of community and collaboration. This fundraiser was more than just a game, it was an opportunity to live out our values and give back in a meaningful way.
To everyone who took part, thank you. This league wasn’t just about scores and standings; it was about the difference we made together.
Together, we’ve created something that truly matters and for that we’re incredibly grateful.
