After graduating from Regent's Park College, Oxford University with a degree in Theology, Adam has spent over a decade in senior leadership roles across the not-for-profit sector. His career has encompassed charity leadership, income generation, and organisational development, with a consistent focus on values-led growth and sustainable impact. Before joining Charisma, Adam served as Director of Development for Sailors' Society, where he oversaw the organisation's global commercial, retail, and fundraising operations, supporting programmes across Asia, Africa, and North America. He was previously Chief Executive of The Source Young People's Charity, where he successfully diversified income generation away from local authority contracts and introduced new social enterprise models, including a thriving community bike business. Earlier in his career, Adam was Minister of Surbiton New Life Baptist Church, beginning an 18-year vocation as a Baptist minister. As Chief Executive of Charisma, Adam leads the company's strategic direction, partnerships, and growth. He works closely with boards and senior leaders to identify exceptional talent for CEO, senior leadership, and trustee appointments, ensuring alignment between personal values and organisational mission. Adam has also served as a trustee and volunteer for several non-profit organisations, including an international mission agency. Currently he is the Club Welfare Officer for a grassroots youth football club with over 700 players on their books. Based in Hampshire, Adam coaches youth football and cricket, and holds season tickets at Eastleigh FC and Hampshire Cricket. Despite this local loyalty, he remains a long-suffering Sheffield United fan! Adam Stacey

Following her undergraduate studies at the University of Bristol and obtaining her Masters degree from UCL, both in art and archaeology, Katherine has worked in senior positions for the past twelve years, in the charity and commercial sectors. Before joining Charisma, Katherine served on the senior leadership team of an arts and education charity dedicated to engaging young people in the performing arts, and preserving and future-proofing the Grade II listed building that housed the charity. Katherine was previously a Tour Manager for an international travel company specialising in heritage educational tours and is the former Area Sales Manager for the UK's largest, independent art gallery group. In all of these roles, people have been at the core. From clients and stakeholders to employees, Katherine has been at the heart of the organisation addressing their business needs, and introducing new strategies to reshape and diversify income, through fundraising, commercial innovation and creative direction. As Executive Director at Charisma, Katherine is responsible for leading and project managing recruitment campaigns across CEO, SLT, and chair and trustee placements. Katherine Anderson-Scott

Sandra has been a recruitment specialist for almost 30 years and has gained vital experience in all aspects of search and selection. Beginning as a trainee consultant Sandra was quickly promoted and soon headhunted to open a new office, starting from a blank canvas and building a team, candidate and client base. Sandra had the pleasure of working in partnership with Johnson and Johnson, IBM, Sony and Lloyds Bank. Based on the clients' sites, Sandra was responsible for managing recruitment, onboarding, leading a team and working directly with senior hiring managers across multiple sites, delivering recruitment support and all aspects of HR. Sandra originally joined Charisma in 2014 as Senior Consultant, successfully placing candidates with charities before spending five years in the care sector. During this time, she promoted the care home by building relationships with families, the local community and professional partnerships, and supporting on all non-clinical issues. Sandra found a connection with the elderly through her role and with supporting her own parents through their dementia journey. Sandra also has personal experience in supporting a loved one with their mental health and has a deep understanding of the challenges and the impact on individuals and families. This lived and professional experience has given Sandra a passion for supporting mental health, the elderly, health and social care and disabilities. Sandra re-joined Charisma in 2021 recruiting for senior level roles within the charity, care, mental health, disability, youth and vulnerable specialisms. Emelinah Tshelane is a highly experienced talent professional with a strong legal foundation, having completed a BCom Law, LLB and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law. She began her career as an immigration law consultant, working closely with asylum seekers and refugees, where she developed a deep commitment to advocacy, ethics and people-centred practice. Emelinah later transitioned into global talent acquisition, specialising in offshoring recruitment and executive search for high-impact roles within international NGOs and mission-driven organisations.
