We are working in partnership with Bristol Animal Rescue Centre, who are seeking a new Chief Executive.
The new Chief Executive will be a visionary leader and provide strong leadership and support, on behalf of the Board of Trustees ensuring the Charity achieves the goals and objectives as set by the Trustees. You will be a passionate and effective advocate in advancing the Centre’s objectives so that meaningful activity is increasingly funded, prioritised and delivered for all animals in our care and the wider Bristol community. This includes public speaking and networking at senior level with other charities, government and community leaders and influencers to materially increase the active supporter base and revenue generated.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Clear and inspirational leadership and people management skills
Flair and engagement with supporters and internal and external stakeholders
Implement a positive and committed performance culture
Maintain the financial viability of the organisation
Prepare and deliver the strategic plan against agreed financial goals
Act as the Ambassador for the charity and have overall responsibility for raising the profile of the Centre and its services in the community
Lead the creation and implementation of the annual and longer-term business plans that will ensure the successful delivery of the strategy and objectives as agreed with the Trustees.
The successful candidate will lead the senior management team and take overall responsibility for all operational activities, financial management and work closely with the Chairman and Trustees to ensure the smooth and efficient management of the Centre. You will deliver new sources of funding to diversify the centres income streams ensuring annual income generation targets are met.
