We are working in partnership with a well-established hospice organisation, who have been providing free palliative care to its patients and their families since 1982. They provide support and care to people in eastern Hertfordshire who are affected by life-limiting illnesses through their Hospice at Home, In-Patient Unit, Community Team, Living Well programme and their Family and Bereavement support service.
They are now seeking a Director of Income Generation and Marketing, who will work with the CEO, the Board of Trustees, and the Income Generation Team to develop and implement a robust Income Generation Strategy.You will need to be able to communicate the vision of what can be achieved using your motivational and compassionate leadership skills to inspire the income generation teams to be ambitious and deliver stretching targets.
The successful applicant will have overall responsibility for the delivery of non-statutory income generation (including Retail and Fundraising) with a particular focus on identifying new income streams and oversee Marketing and Communications.
Candidates should have the following skills and experience:
· Senior management experience in commercial marketing or professional fundraising at multimillion pound level
· Proven ability to lead high performing teams to maximise the motivation, skills development, and performance of team members
· Experience of developing and maintaining annual operational plans, budgets, and forecasts
· Ability to implement a strategic approach to internal and external communications ensuring alignment to the overall strategy
The successful candidate will be an experienced senior manager and will play a key role in shaping the future if the hospice.You will be creative, innovative, dynamic and ambitious with excellent networking and communication skills.
