Winchester Cathedral seeks a new Member of Chapter, the cathedral governing body, with experience and expertise in environmental issues and a passion to see the church be at the forefront of living sustainably in God’s good creation. The new non-exec member will join Chapter as the Cathedral becomes a full charity (under the new Cathedrals Measure 2021) and seeks to embed green policies and practices including achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.
The new member will play a full part, as Trustee, in the strategic decisions and governance of the Cathedral in this next stage of its development. One of the Cathedral’s six priorities for the next five years is'to build a greener and sustainable future’.
