We are working in partnership with Fields in Trust, an organisation that protects and champions parks and green spaces in perpetuity across the UK. Established in 1925, they passionately believe parks and green spaces are the beating hearts of our communities, with transformational powers to promote health and wellbeing, social cohesion, and happiness. They work in partnership with landowners to protect their green spaces for good, and champion and protect our green future at local, national, and devolved level.

Working closely with the Chief Executive you will be central to keeping the charity moving forward by providing wide ranging administrative support, including diary management, meeting planning and team co-ordination. You’ll be responsible for making sure the office space runs smoothly and be a first friendly point of contact for the organisation dealing with a range of external stakeholders. The team will look to you for support on day-to-day HR tasks and to co-ordinate regular team meetings, socials, and away days.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role

  • Experience of developing and maintaining administrative processes

  • Experience taking and producing minutes

  • Organised, with excellent attention to detail

  • Comfortable with multi-tasking

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

We are seeking an individual with excellent Office 365 skills, with strong organisational skills and the capability to manage multiple pieces of work with strong attention to detail.
