We are supporting Basingstoke Counselling Service, who were found in 1985 by a small group of local therapists wanting to provide mental health support to the local community. Since then, the Service has flourished to become a busy, vibrant counselling and training centre dedicated to improving the emotional wellbeing of the community.
The organisation is now seeking a Finance Manager to deliver all aspects of their financial planning and management.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
Experience in financial and management accounting, strategic plan execution, and best practice delivery
Ensuring best practice controls, policies, processes and assurance are in place and effective
Experience preparing monthly management accounts, conducting payroll, bank reconciliation, reporting and regular finance tasks in this type of setting
Excellent administrative and organisational skills, including regular reporting to senior colleagues
You will be a collaborative and co-operative manager, with the ability to assimilate financial information and communicate this well to others. You will be self-motivated, enthusiastic to achieve results and comfortable working to deadlines.
