We are working in partnership with PROPS, an established medium sized charity currently in a period of growth and expansion. The charity provides work focused vocational training and meaningful work opportunities, to predominantly younger adults with learning disabilities, from their centre in Bristol.
The charity is now seeking to appoint a Fundraising Manager (p.t). This new role will focus on securing funds from trusts and foundations, individual giving (including legacies), partnerships, fundraising events and supporting others to fundraise for the organisation. The postholder will develop and drive forward a fundraising strategy, as well as lead campaigns, appeals, and a range of both small and larger events.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
Experience of working in a professional fundraising role, preferably from an events and/or individual giving perspective.
Experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies, as well as managing a fundraising budget.
Ability to write persuasive applications, cases for support, appeals and other fundraising content, adapting the style and tone as needed.
Experience sourcing, securing and stewarding donors, funders, and supporters.
Experience leading fundraising events.
