We are working in partnership with RedR UK, an international disaster relief charity, which saves lives by giving aid workers the vital skills they need to do their jobs to the highest possible standard. The charity provides training and technical support to NGOs and thousands of people each year, from providing emergency shelter, to staying safe in the field, from project management after emergencies, to essential water and sanitation skills and more. RedR UK is also a Membership organisation, with a global network of 1,800 Members, all of whom are experienced humanitarian professionals.

They are now seeking a Fundraising Officer, who will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating mid-donor and individual giving, and embedding legacy asks in their stewardship programme. The postholder will work with the rest of the fundraising team to hold events and run campaigns in support of these income streams, and to contribute to meeting fundraising targets. They have a communications-based approach to individual giving and legacies, and this is a real opportunity to make your mark and deliver significant change to an international development charity.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

·         Experience developing and implementing a mid-level donor programme with the support of colleagues

·         Experience of running a communications stewardship programme for individual giving

·         Experience developing and growing relationships with, and stewarding, legacy donors through a communications-based strategy

·         Experience supporting and co-ordinating events while not essential, is advantageous

We are seeking an individual with great communications and stewardship skills, with a flexible and collaborative approach to work.
