We are working in partnership with the oldest and largest youth charity in the world, who support 572,000 young people every year, ensuring each young person they meet has an opportunity to belong, contribute and thrive.

They are now seeking a Fundraising Officer (Retention), who will be responsible for implementing the organisation’s retention strategy, stewarding, and maintaining the supporter journey for regular giving and cash supporters. The postholder will develop income from individual donors and build strong relationships with existing supporters, via cash appeals, supporter newsletters, thank you and gift aid mailings and communications via various multimedia channels.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

·         Experience of working in a direct marketing environment, with a knowledge of direct marketing techniques.

·         Experience of leading or supporting campaigns.

·         Experience leading on or supporting the delivery of a charity gaming product, such as raffle or lottery, would be advantageous.

We are seeking an out of the box thinker who is highly detail-oriented with excellent accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret complex information for non-specialist audiences, is essential. Members of the team have also had the opportunity to travel to Thailand and America previously, so this may also be possible in this role.
