Job Title: Interim Community Fundraising Manager (3 months)

Salary:  Circa £32k

Location: Portsmouth

We are working in partnership with a military charity that provides support to its personnel, their families, veterans and cadets.  The charity is now seeking to appoint an Interim Community Fundraising Manager that will lead in all aspects of community fundraising development, delivery and management.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following:

  • High degree of knowledge and experience designing and coordinating fundraising activities within the charity sector, ideally community fundraising and challenge events
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
  • Experience of database management
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines without close supervision

The post holder will be a confident self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills and excellent judgement combined with a meticulous, accurate and disciplined approach to work.  You should be willing to attend events and meetings outside of normal working hours and travel within and outside the UK.   This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual.  If you feel you have the drive and passion to succeed in this role, we very much look forward to hearing from you.
