Trust and Foundation Manager

We are working in partnership with an international welfare charity.

The charity have ambitious plans to grow voluntary income to increase the reach and impact of their work to support seafarers around the globe. We are, therefore, seeking a skilled Trusts and Foundations Manager who is not phased by challenging targets to join their small (but growing) development team, reporting to the Director of Development.

With overall responsibility for the existing T&F portfolio and tasked with developing and implementing a fundraising strategy for the T&F income stream, the successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in managing substantial income pipelines, developing and implementing fundraising strategy, researching and identifying new opportunities for growth and achieving challenging targets.

  • Excellent written skills to create accurate, powerful, compelling and persuasive copy in a range of formats to entice and deliver prospects, together with the ability to present and engage with high quality and compelling proposals, reports and presentations.

  • Ability to match the needs of prospective funders with the needs of the charity with excellent credentials in providing supporter stewardship and skills in planning and delivering events opportunities.

  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels

  • An entrepreneurial approach

  • Good IT skills including all key Microsoft Office suite applications and Teams, with added experience of Raiser’s Edge NXT or other CRM database systems.
