We are working in partnership with a long-established charity, which enables families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness to make the most of their time together, by providing expert, practical and emotional support.

We are seeking a Trust Fundraiser, for a MAT cover contract, to manage and build relationships with charitable trusts and foundations, raising the funds needed to deliver and grow their support services. The Philanthropy Team has a well-established fundraising programme, playing a significant role in raising the £5m a year to fund their support services, and with plans to grow income over the next 3-5 years. They have an established portfolio of funders, giving low level gifts to six figure donations and the post holder will have the opportunity to work on large applications.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of Trust fundraising or a similar role

  • Strong research and application writing skills

  • Experience of project reporting

  • Experience of producing communications for Trusts and Foundations, or High Value Donors or equivalent.

  • Experience of managing and developing relationships, including communicating with and influencing donors/customers on the phone, face to face and in writing.

  • A proven track record in meeting targets.

We are seeking an individual with excellent written and verbal skills, who is able to work accurately within established standards and guidelines. Being a multi-tasker and a collaborative decision maker supporting established policies and procedures is essential. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this post. As a CQC registered organisation, it is an expectation that all employees are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (unless medically exempt).

For more information, please contact Katherine Anderson-Scott, Charisma Charity Recruitment, or 01962 813300. Your application should include your CV and supporting statement.

We welcome and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds. We do not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, colour, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, veteran status or other category protected by law.

Closing date for applications: ASAP, applications are being reviewed and interviews are being conducted on a rolling basis, so please apply without delay to avoid disappointment.
