We are working in partnership with St Helens Mind. St.Helens Mind is an independent, local charity, established in 1995 to support local people aged 18+ who experience isolation or loneliness due to their mental health difficulties. They are affiliated to national Mind, and have transformed their services in response to local needs.
You may be surprised that St Helens Mind now aims to help more people to maintain their mental well-being, by tackling issues like loneliness and isolation that can lead to stress and anxiety. Some of their activities are open to all, to promote resilience and well-being for the wider community.
St Helens Mind is now seeking to appoint Trustees to join their Board. The Board provide collective governance leadership of the organisation and the Trustees will play a key role in setting the strategic direction of the organisation and overall policy, defining goals, establishing targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets.
They are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to be part of the next exciting phase of the charity. You will share their passion and ensuring that St Helens Mind delivers on their vision, mission, and values. They are looking for new trustees with a range of skills and experience, different backgrounds and all walks of life. This might include those with lots of experience and those who may have less and keen to have their first Board appointment.
