We are working in partnership with Oakhaven Hospice, who meet the end-of-life care needs of their local community. They provide specialist services from the Hospice, combined with support, education, research and partnership working, and collaboration with others who share an interest in end-of-care life. Together with the vital support of their staff, volunteers, donors and supporters, they continue to develop and grow services, ensuring all patients get expert, dignified, compassionate and supportive care when and where they need it.
We are seeking Trusts Fundraiser to generate sustainable income from Trusts and Grant making bodies and individuals. The postholder will nurture existing and potential supporters, match projects to the relevant funders and ensure application and report deadlines are met, to contribute to the delivery of the fundraising strategy and the creation of a sustainable income stream.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
Experience of working in the charity or public sector in a fundraising or bid writing role
Good working knowledge and understanding of Trust and Foundation requirements and expectations
Recent experience of researching, preparing, and submitting Trust and Foundation applications, and associated reporting
Experience of developing relationships with current and prospective funders
We are seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, and to write accurately, concisely, creatively, and persuasively to tell a compelling story.
