We are working in partnership with The Fire Fighters Charity, who provide specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. They exist to support all fire and rescue service personnel, whatever their role in the service, including all those who have retired, as well as for spouses and qualifying dependants.

They are seeking a Legacy and Trusts Executive to cover a period of maternity leave. The postholder will generate target income from UK Charitable Trusts and Foundations and from legacy donations. The postholder will provide effective administration of trusts, partnerships, and legacies and work closely with the Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager to ensure the overall objectives of the department are supported.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

·         Experience in legacy administration and understanding of legacies legal administration

·         Experience of writing applications for trust and foundation fundraising

·         Knowledge of the SORP guidelines and awareness of charity accrual process

·         Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous

We are seeking an individual with excellent written and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload, able to understand and interpret complex data, with high levels of numeracy and literacy.
