• Rent management including documenting resident moves and posting receipts paid by local authorities.
• Managing office supplies, and provision of facilities support in line with relevant Health & safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, you will be able to manage a varied workload and prioritise activities and responses in order of importance.

We are partnering with the Social Interest Group (‘SIG’) to appoint new Trustees to join their board.  SIG brings charities together to work under one umbrella focusing on delivering good quality social and health care services.  They support people who are in the criminal justice system, stepping down from hospital, recovering from mental ill health and those moving away from periods of homelessness, recovering from substance and alcohol issues.

Their Mission is to create powerful partnerships and solutions that bridge the gaps in local health and social care so people can live happy, healthy, productive and fulfilled lives.

As mentioned, your background is less important but if you are in IT, Public Relations & Marketing, Operations (maybe you have been or are, a COO), engaged in the medical profession with an emphasis on mental health, a service user or carer, this is of interest to the current board.

We are working in partnership with Chichester Counselling Services (CCS), a registered charity, who are a highly regarded training school and counselling service. Their aim is to provide affordable counselling and training services to the community of Chichester and the wider areas of West Sussex and East Hampshire. CCS’s psychodynamic training programme, accredited by the BACP, has a reputation for rigour and depth. The counselling offered is frequently recommended by local health professionals and is well-respected in the community: around two thirds of their clients approach CCS having been encouraged to do so by professional advisors or by their family, friends, or employers. 

CCS are now seeking experienced counsellors (up to 5 opportunities available), to provide creative and varied teaching approaches to CCS’s counselling students. This includes teaching counselling skills / clinical practice and theory.

Required experience and skills:

•    A minimum of 2 years post-qualification clinical practice experience that has been supervised by a fully qualified counselling supervisor. 
•    Experience in training and facilitating adult groups within a counselling environment. 
•    Accreditation with BACP, professional accreditation with NCPS or UKCP membership, or in the process of accreditation.

You will have:

• Extensive experience as a Major Donor fundraiser or transferrable commercial experience in cultivating and securing major gifts or sales, with a demonstrable track record of success
• A track record of identifying, cultivating and generating multi-year income, managing high-value donors or senior clients
• Experience of delivering stewardship and cultivation events
• Excellent persuasive interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and nurture long-term relationships
