Procurement at the BFI is governed by Public Sector regulations procuring goods and services totalling on average £25m a year with all procurement over £10k in value managed by the Procurement team and as such the successful candidate will need to be experienced in public sector procurement.  Ideally, you will also be a generalist as the breadth of procurement at BFI is extensive, and you will demonstrate the skills to run both below and above threshold tenders with knowledge of frameworks.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for growing support from businesses (currently 30 small corporates) plus local groups. You’ll manage existing partners and build new relationships to hit a £150K annual target.

Since 2000, SongBird Survival has been fighting for a better future for UK songbirds, and they are the only national UK charity solely dedicated to make a positive impact for songbirds in the face of this devastating ecological emergency. SongBird Survival do this by commissioning independent scientific research into the causes of the catastrophic decline in songbird numbers, translating research findings into actionable strategies, which aim to make a tangible difference in the protection and preservation of songbird populations. They are now looking for a Centre Manager who can oversee all aspects of the programme coordination and delivery, to ensure it is delivered in line with agreed targets, reporting to Resurgo and the church, whilst providing effective leadership to the Assistant Coaches.

All Spear coaches work face-to-face with young people, having the privilege to invest in their lives, but receive regular training as a group, so you’d be joining a network of many like-minded coaches eager to see young people’s lives radically impacted. You’ll work with and be supported by the River Church locally, and by a Church Partnerships Manager from Resurgo, to ensure the flourishing of the Spear centre, its team and young people, and to ensure the fulfilment of their shared mission in Ipswich.

Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) has secured funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust to expand the Thrive Together programme (formerly VPPP) across the South East. This initiative connects veterans' support agencies, ensuring seamless pathways, safe spaces for veterans, and training for volunteers and staff working in veterans' mental health. They are now seeking a Families & Carers Outreach Officer to explore the challenges of reaching out to families and carers of veterans to improve the way that this support can be delivered.

VOS is an award-winning charity that offers welfare, wellbeing and mental health support and services to veterans of the UK Armed Forces and Merchant Navy in Portsmouth, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight. VOS provide a drop-in model of support, a welfare advice service, peer-supported wellbeing activities and social groups, with access to psychology, psychiatry, and therapy services.

The Families & Carers Outreach Officer will collaborate with the Thrive Together Portfolio Manager and VOS team to identify and improve outreach to families and carers of veterans, many of whom may not know they’re entitled to support.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience with identifying, planning, running, and evaluating pilot projects, research groups, and focus groups, while managing timelines. 
• Skills in sharing learnings and recommendations based on feedback, creating ways to measure service effectiveness, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working with diverse communities, understanding their needs, and building solid relationships. Knowledge of or experience with the UK veteran community would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Experienced in planning and leading community workshops, guiding discussions, and encouraging participation from group members.
• Awareness of the specific communication and engagement needs relevant to the group or community you are working with, including cultural understanding of diverse family dynamics and considerations that may impact service delivery.

We would like to hear from you if you are someone who’s organised, a great communicator and strong listener, with the ability to work with all kinds of people, with awareness of cultural differences, and can use that understanding to collaborate effectively. Littleton Junior FC has been part of the community for over half a century. With more than 40 teams and over 600 young players registered, we’ve earned a strong reputation locally – not just for developing footballers, but for creating a supportive, inclusive space for children and families to thrive.

We’re looking for a dedicated Treasurer – or two people sharing the role – to join our volunteer committee and help ensure the club’s financial foundations remain as solid as our reputation on the pitch.

Whether you’re a spreadsheet whizz, a fan of forecasting, or someone who simply wants to use their skills to give back to grassroots sport, we’d love to hear from you.

The role could be shared and split in two main parts:

Role 1: Club finance and reporting
Includes tasks such as keeping accurate financial records (Excel-based), managing payments and reimbursements, cashflow monitoring, and producing a set of annual accounts. This part averages about an hour per week and includes regular monthly reconciliation.

Role 2: Membership fees and payments
Focused on setting up and managing membership fees via the CRM, allocating payments, handling refunds, chasing unpaid fees through coaches, and managing the hardship fund. There’s some upfront work in May, a busy spell around the start of the season in August/September, and then lighter monthly duties.

Both parts are supported by clear handovers and the flexibility to back each other up – whether you take on one side or both, you won’t be alone.

You don’t need to be a qualified accountant – just someone who is:

• Confident with numbers and basic Excel spreadsheets
• Comfortable with online banking and payment systems
• A good communicator and team player
• Passionate about helping young people through sport

They provide support for refugees and asylum seekers across London and beyond through a holistic model and multifaceted approach, which acknowledges the whole person and all their physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Their services including advice and guidance, campaigning, ESOL classes, community classes and groups, counselling, wellbeing services, youth activities and mentoring. 

New Citizens’ Gateway (NCG) are actively developing their Board and are now seeking new Trustees, bringing fresh skills and professional backgrounds to help continue their growth. The new trustees will join a collaborative and ambitious team and will be responsible for providing strategic support related to their area of expertise and support overall governance and leadership of the organisation.

NCG wants its Board to reflect the people it serves, so they actively encourage candidates to apply with lived experience of the refugee and/or forced migration journey to rebuilding your life in the U.K.

Key skills and experience are sought, although not limited to, the following areas:
