Partnerships Advisor (Mid-Level Donors) - The Leprosy Mission Great Britain

Peterborough, UK
Circa £33,000
Permanent
Closing on 1 November 2026

Mid-level donor fundraising role, building a programme of supporter relationships to help defeat leprosy and transform lives.

The Leprosy Mission Great Britain (TLMGB) is the world's largest leprosy-focused charity, working in nine countries across Africa and Asia to defeat leprosy and transform lives. Every three minutes, someone is diagnosed with leprosy. There is a cure, but without prompt treatment the disease causes permanent disability, and the stigma attached to it means people are often rejected by those closest to them. TLMGB's vision is "leprosy defeated, lives transformed" meaning a world with zero transmission, zero disability and zero discrimination.

We are looking for a warm, relationship-focused Partnerships Advisor to join TLMGB’s Fundraising Team. Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, you will build and nurture relationships with mid-level donors giving £700-£2,000 annually, inspiring them to deepen their engagement with TLMGB’s mission and the impact of their support.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Shape and grow a mid-level donor programme, helping to deliver fundraising goals and enabling more people affected by leprosy to receive support and care.
  • Build meaningful, faith-filled relationships with supporters, getting to know them personally through regular conversations, encouraging them in their generosity, and praying with them as part of their journey with TLMGB.
  • Bring inspiring stories of transformation to life, crafting compelling appeals, impact reports and supporter communications that connect donors with the people and communities they are helping to reach.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen supporter engagement, researching current and prospective donors to understand their interests, passions and potential for greater partnership with the ministry.

You'll ideally bring at least two years' experience in fundraising, or a commercial background in sales, key account management or a customer-facing role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Christ-centred, welcoming and supportive team that loves working together. TLMGB has a strong culture of learning and development, offering extensive training in fundraising and international development, and the opportunity to join a field visit overseas to meet some of the people your work serves. The charity is proud of its award-winning levels of staff engagement and has been recognised with Charity Times and Third Sector awards.

Why work for The Leprosy Mission Great Britain?

  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays, plus a closed office over Christmas week
  • Non-contributory pension with 10% employer contribution
  • Life assurance cover (4× salary)
  • 14 hours paid volunteering leave per year
  • Non-contributory Health Cash Plan, including an Employee Assistance Programme
  • Enhanced maternity, adoption, shared parental and paternity pay
  • Occasional overseas travel
  • Christ-centred, prayerful and supportive team culture

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and a Work Health Questionnaire.

Your application should include your CV and supporting statement.

Location: Hybrid – Peterborough office 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday), up to 3 days home working with occasional overseas travel.
